Shipping & Return Policy

Shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping. 

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

For orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays, pick up will be on the next business day. E.g. The order is placed on Friday, the pick up will be on Monday and delivery may be made on Tuesday. For orders placed on Thursdays, the pick up will be on Friday and delivery may be on Monday. 

Please email us with your order number if you require an urgent delivery but have ordered on those days mentioned above. Additional charges may apply. 

Free local delivery is available for orders over $60 within the island of Singapore and excluding the restricted locations in the list below. For orders under $60, we charge a small fee of $5 for local delivery.

Due to restrictions and limitations (placed by certain institutions and organisations), we are unable to make deliveries to the following areas in Singapore:

  • Jurong Island
  • Tuas Link
  • Changi Cargo
  • Country Clubs
  • Army Camps
  • Seletar Aerospace
  • Off-shore Islands such as Pulau Ubin
  • Turf Club Avenue
  • Sentosa
  • Singapore Prison Quarters
  • Airbase sites
  • SATS Inflight Catering Centre 1
  • ST Kinetics
  • Shipyards
  • Hospitals
  • Powergrid
  • Changi Airport Boulevard, and all airport areas including areas within Changi Airport and Seletar Airport

If you work at the above locations, we strongly encourage you to use your home address as a delivery location instead.

Do write to us with your confirmation order if you require next day delivery. A surcharge of $15 applies for next day delivery. 

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at support@aboutthescent.com.sg with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 7 days after delivery, the item must be unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at support@aboutthescent.com.sg with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
